This networked drive worked otherwise OK, but with the following shortcomings:
- No AFP protocol support, built for Windows SMB.
- Bundled utilities (WD Anywhere Access) only works on Windows.
I ended up selling the unit to a Windows-using friend. Should have done my homework better.
