Quite useful but the driver software was somewhat strange. The system volume control was disabled and driver volume control also didn't work. Digital output could handle (Apple's) DVD-player 5.1 sound but not the system sound output (no PCM feed from iTunes :( ). The card also prevented the system (Powermac G4 "Quicksilver" in this occasion) from falling into "deepsleep".
